• catchy and will stay with the audience.
• audio is not too upbeat and very fitting to the typical sound of rnb sound
• lyrics are said clearly and slowly -- ease of us replicating the lip-syncing.

Against 

•  the idea for the shots is more difficult as there is not much we could think of that would be relevant especially for the duration of the song.
• lyrics are not meaningful 

All I have - Jennifer Lopez

For 

•  Lyrics are meaningful,we can subvert stereotypical assumptions 
• Sung on a good pace  therefore it will be easier to lip-sync
• more freedom for shot ideas 

Against 

• singing is a little too tuned 
• the introduction is very long
• we would need to include a male singer 

Better in time -Leona Lewis 

For 

• pace of the song is ideal as it begins slow but then gets faster towards the chorus 
• lyrics hold meaning therefore more impact when shots appear in sequence.
• the lyrics allow us to have more creativity in terms of shots.
• fits into the sort of vision we have with our shot ideas as we want to follow the convention of breakups and difficult relationships.
• we can subvert gender stereotypes of women as the lyrics says "thought I couldn't live without you" inferring realisation and suggesting independence  without a male figure.

• very well-known song therefore audience will compare to original music video .
